Create Your Club

It’s time to create your club in the system! This will allow coders to join your specific club, and give you the ability to view statistics just for those coders.

Here’s how:

  1. Log in to your Admin account
  2. Select the “Programs” tab on the top menu
  3. Select the appropriate library from the drop down list
  4. Click the yellow “+” button
  5. Enter your club details
  6. Click “Save”

If you ever need additional clubs, follow the instructions above to create as many as needed for your library.

You might want to add multiple programs for seasonal clubs (Summer Code Club), or curriculum specific clubs (Robotics, Javascript, etc.). This will help you to keep Code Club fresh, and also to more easily sort out statistics for reports and analysis.

One final note, when you add a coder manually to a program, they (or their parents) will receive an email informing them that they are now a part of that particular club, and when it meets. They will also be asked to sign in to their account to complete the enrollment process.
